Mathstart这系列跟哈考特(Harcourt)的Math Concept Reader系列很像，都是通过故事来展示数学概念。不过，Mathstart只有三个level，第一个level适合有亲子阅读规律且能有基本词汇，最起码sight words要能认得七七八八的孩子来做亲子阅读，因为，虽然也是故事书，且语言不难，但毕竟还是涉及到数学概念，而且还会重复出现数学概念，孩子如果听力理解和阅读能力才刚起步，就还要理解数学概念，那可能就有点难度。不过，也可以先把Mathstart的level 1作为绘本读，里面的数学概念可以慢慢消化，先留个印象。即使这样，那也还是希望孩子的听力能力比较强，能在爸爸妈妈的帮助下认识基本的单词。
% t1 d3 L5 K4 Q0 [! L0 x' pMathstart的level 2比level 1难一些，如果level 1每本都没有问题了，那就可以开始Level 2的学习了。6 x" u( }; w! O/ v1 U x. N
如果level 1学完，level 2感觉有点难，那就可以先学哈考特(Harcourt)的Math Concept ReaderG1的红色系列。然后再学level 2。学完level 2，可以接下来学哈考特(Harcourt)的Math Concept ReaderG1的蓝色系列。* q4 f" e v& e# ], c. y
Mathstart的level 3可以和哈考特(Harcourt)的Math Concept ReaderG1的绿色系列一起学，也可以和哈考特(Harcourt)的Math Concept ReaderG2的红色或蓝色系列一起学。
3 Z+ @4 {/ ~( F2 K3 AMathstart系列应该是没有音频的，我看了作者的个人网站，没看到上面说有CD卖，所以，Mathstart可能还需要妈妈有些英语功底。哈考特(Harcourt)的Math Concept Reader是有点读pdf的，所以不用担心发音的问题。. Y7 \$ y0 y) \
