如何来阅读The Secret Room先上图，

 

 

在开始读故事之前，可以让孩子根据书的封面和故事的名称想象一下这会是一个怎样的故事，故事中会发生什么。亲子共读过程中可以考虑以下活动：                 

1.和孩子一起读标题和看封面。问：你认为这个故事是关于什么的？  

2.问：你认为在床单下面可能会有什么？

 

 

Biff and Chip liked the new house.Biff和Chip喜欢他们的新房子。

They helped Mum and Dad.他们帮助妈妈和爸爸。 

 

 

Mum put wallpaper on the wall.妈妈给墙贴上了新壁纸。

Chip helped her.Chip帮助她。

Dad painted a door.爸爸给门刷漆。

Biff helped him.Biff帮助他。 

 

 

Biff was in her room.Biff在她的房间里。

Dad looked at the wallpaper.爸爸看了看壁纸。

Biff wanted new wallpaper.Biff想要新的壁纸。 

 

 

They went to the wallpaper shop.他们去了壁纸商店。

Biff looked at the wallpaper.Biff看了看壁纸。

She liked this wallpaper.她喜欢这一款。 

 

 

Mum and Dad pulled the wallpaper off.妈妈和爸爸把旧壁纸撕了下来。

Biff and Chip helped.Biff和Chip一起帮忙。

"What a job!"said Chip.“好辛苦啊！”Chip说。 

 

 

Biff found a door.Biff找到了一扇门。

The door was stuck.门打不开。 

 

 

Mum opened the door.妈妈把门打开了。

She found a room.她发现了一个房间。

Everyone looked inside.所有人都往里看。

 

 

 

Mum went into the secret room.妈妈走进这个秘密房间。

She found a little house.她发现了一座小房子。

"It looks like our house,"said Mum.“它看起来像是我们的房子，”妈妈说。

 

 

Biff opened the little house.Biff打开这座小房子。

Everyone looked inside.所有人都往里面看。

"It looks like our house inside,"said Biff.“里面也像我们的房子，”Biff说。

 

 

Kipper found a little dog.Kipper找到了一只小狗。

"Look at this little dog,"said Kipper.“看这只小狗，”Kipper说。

"It looks like our dog."“它看起来像我们的狗。”

"It looks like Floppy."“他看起来像Floppy。”

 

 

Chip found three little children.Chip找到了三个小孩。

"Look at the children,"said Chip.“看这几个孩子，”Chip说。

"They look like us."“他们就像我们。”

 

 

Biff liked her bedroom.Biff喜欢她的房间。

She liked the secret room too.她也喜欢那个秘密房间。

Dad painted the secret room.爸爸给秘密房间刷了漆。

Biff put things inside.Biff把东西放了进去。

 

 

Biff was in bed.Biff上床睡觉了。

She was fast asleep.她很快就睡着了。

She dreamed about the little children.她梦到了那三个孩子。

 

故事到这里就结束，家长可以和孩子一起来完成活动。                

1.看到第9页，问：Chip是什么意思？看到第10，问：你认为门为什么被沾上墙纸？

2.讨论您的孩子可能在神秘房间里找到东西。
