如何来阅读 Land Of The Dinosaurs 看看封面吧。

 

 

在开始读故事之前，可以让孩子根据书的封面和故事的名称想象一下这会是一个怎样的故事，故事中会发生什么。亲子共读过程中可以考虑以下活动：                            

1.和孩子一起读标题和看封面。问：你认为这个故事是关于什么的？                                 

2.讨论标题，问：如果你遇到一只活着的恐龙？

 

 

“We are going on a magic adventure,”said Chip.

The children went through the door of the magic house.

“Oh help!" said Nadim.

“我们正在进行一场神奇的冒险，”Chip说。

孩子们穿过了神奇屋子的门。

“哦,救命!”Nadim说。 

 

 

The magic took the children to the land of the dinosaurs.

“I don't want this adventure,”said Nadim.“I don't want to meet a dinosaur.”

魔法把孩子们带到了恐龙的领地。

“我不想要这次冒险，”Nadim说。“我不想见到恐龙。”

A dragonfly flew by.

“Look at this,”said Chip."It's a giant dragon fly.What a big one!”

一只蜻蜓飞过。

“看这个”Chip说。“这是一只巨大的蜻蜓。好大的一个!”

 

 

Chip found a footprint.It was a giant foot print.

“Come and look,,”said Chip."It must bea dinosaur's footprint.”

Chip发现一个脚印。这是一个巨大的脚印。

:“过来看,“Chip说。”它一定是恐龙的脚印。”

 Biff took a photograph of the giant foot print.

“I can take this photograph to school,”she said.

Biff拍了一张巨大脚印的照片。

“我可以把这张照片带到学校去，”她说。 

 

 

Nadim found some eggs.They were big eggs.

“They must be a dinosaur's eggs,”he said.

Nadim发现了一些蛋。他们非常大。

“它们一定是恐龙的蛋，”他说。

One of the eggs began to crack.

“It's going to hatch out,”said Biff.Something came out of the egg.

  “It's a little dinosaur," said Nadim.

其中一个蛋开始裂开。

“它会孵出来的，”Biff说。有东西从蛋里出来了。

“这是一只小恐龙，”Nadim说。 

 

 

Something flew by.The children were frightened.

“What is it?”asked Chip.“I don't know,”said Biff.

什么东西飞过了。孩子们很害怕。

“那是什么?”Chip问道。“我不知道”Biff说。

The children ran.

"It's a flying dinosaur,'said Nadim,"and it's a big one.Come on,let's hide.”

孩子们跑了。

“那是一只会飞的恐龙，”Nadim说，“它是一个大恐龙。快跑,让我们躲起来。”

 

 

The flying dinosaur flew down to the eggs.

It picked up the little dinosaur in itsteeth.

飞行的恐龙飞向了蛋。

它捡起了里面的小恐龙。

“Oh no!”said Biff."It's going to eat it.”

She picked up a stick and ran out.

  “Go away!" she yelled.

“哦,不!”Biff说。“它会吃掉它的。”

她拿起一根棍子跑了出去。

“走开!”她喊道。 

 

 

The dinosaur flew away but Chip was cross with Biff.

“You were silly,”he said.“It could have got you.”

那只恐龙飞走了，但Chip却对Biff很生气。

“你太傻了,”他说。“他会把你抓走的。”

Wilf ran on and climbed a hill.He wanted to look for an apatosaurus.

“Come up here Biff,”he called.“You can take a photograph.”

Wilf跑着爬上了一座小山。他想找一只雷龙。

“快来这，Biff，”他喊道。“你可以拍张照片。”

 

 

Wilf had not climbed on a hill.

He had climbed on a dinosaur and it was enormous.

It looked round at Wilf.

原来Wilf不是爬上一座小山。

而是爬在一只恐龙身上，它是巨大的。

它环视着Wilf。

Wilf was frightened.“Oh help!" he said.

He jumped down and ran.

“Let's get out of here," he called.

Wilf很害怕。“哦,救命啊!”他说。

他跳了下去，跑了起来。

“我们离开这儿吧，”他喊道。

 

 

“Don't be frightened,”said Chip."It's an apatosaurus.It's like the one in the museum.It won't hurt us.”

“别害怕,”Chip说。“这是一只雷龙。就像博物馆里的那个。它不会伤害我们的。”

Biff took a photograph of it.

“What a long neck it's got and what along tail!" she said.“I need a bigger camera.'

Biff拍了一张照片。

她说:“这脖子太长了，还有尾巴!”“我需要一个更大的相机。”

 

 

The apatosaurus ran into the water.

“What an enormous splash!" said Wilf.

Nadim looked frightened.

“Oh help!? he called.

雷龙跑进了水里。

“多么巨大的水花!”

Nadim看上去吓坏了。

“哦,救命!”他叫道。

Another dinosaur was coming and it looked very fierce.

“Let's get out of here,”yelled Chip.

另一只恐龙来了，看起来非常凶猛。

 

“让我们离开这里吧，”Chip喊道。

 

 

Biff took a photograph.

“Come on ,”yelled Chip,"don't stop for that.

This one could eat us!”

Biff拍了一张照片。

“快来，”Chip喊道，“别停下来。

这只恐龙可以吃掉我们!”

They began to run away.Wilf's other shoe came off in the mud.

Suddenly,the key began to glow.

“Just in time!”said Chip.

他们开始逃跑。Wilf的另一只鞋掉在泥里了。

突然,钥匙开始发光了。

“刚刚好!”Chip说。

 

 

The magic took the children to Biff's bedroom.

“What an adventure!”said Biff.

"I've got some good photographs.”

魔法把孩子们带到了Biff的卧室。

“真是一次神奇的冒险!”Biff说。

“我拍到一些好照片。”

“This is the fierce dinosaur,”said Chip.“Did you take its photograph?”

“Yes,”said Biff."Let's tell Mum and Dad.”

“这是一种凶猛的恐龙，”Chip说。

“你拍了它的照片?”

“是的,”Biff说。“让我们告诉妈妈和爸爸吧。”

 

 

“I took photographs of dinosaurs,”said Biff.

“Oh yes,”said Dad.

“Well,I'm sorry,I didn't put a film in the camera.”

“我拍了恐龙的照片，”Biff说。

“哦,是的,”爸爸说。

“额，对不起，我没有把胶卷放在相机里。”  

 

故事到这里就结束，家长可以和孩子一起来完成活动。                                   

1.看到第2页，问：Nadim感觉怎么样？你喜欢这个吗？

2.看到第11页，问：为什么Biff对飞行恐龙这么生气？
