Up on a hill that was very tall, a little boy made a big snowball.
一个小男孩在一座很高的山上做了一个雪球。
He gave that snowball one hard throw.
他用力的抛起了雪球。
Off it went and then-oh,no!
雪球掉了下来，哦，不！
The snow was falling.
天空中飘起了雪。
The wind was blowing.
风也开始呜呜的吹。
The snowball flew...
雪球飞了起来。
and kept on going!
一直飞呀飞
It went past boys and girls on sleds.
它穿过划着雪橇的男孩和女孩们。
It went over everybody's heads.
它从所有人的头上越过。
It stopped the cars.
小汽车因为它而停了下来。
It stopped the trucks.
小卡车因为它而停了下来。
It scared the feathers off some ducks.
它惊起了一群鸭子，掉下了一片片羽毛。
It cased away a dog and a cat.
它吓跑了一只猫和一只狗。
It knocked off many people's hats.
它撞掉了很多人的帽子。
But still the snowball did not stop.
可是但雪球还是没有停下来。
It flew into the ice-cream shop.
它飞进了一家冰淇淋店。
And while Miss Jones was on the phone, it dropped into an ice-cream cone.
它掉进了正在打电话的琼斯小姐手中的冰淇淋蛋筒里。
Just then, the boy came in, of course.
这时，那个小男孩走了进来。
He was as hungry as a horse.
他饿得前胸贴后背。
He wanted something good to eat..
他想吃些美味的东西。
so with a dollar he bought a treat.
所以他用一美元买了一个。
That's all. No more snowball !
故事说完了，没有别的雪球了。
