这个动画片里所揭示的phonics要点，都是与学校教授的phonics相一致的，也是得到比较多的专家认可的phonics核心点。
核心技巧一：掌握字母和音之间的联系。
在本部动画片中，每个字母有一个主要动作来发出字母相对应的音。如一个苹果掉在“A"的头上，然后“A”会发出”a！"的音。每一集都会有对应的名字，给父母做为参考。

phonics 核心技巧二：拼读简单单词。
这个技巧里包括两个方面：一为sounding out, 二为blending.
sounding out,就是指着单个的字母时，能说出每个字母的发音；
blending, 就是把这些音拼在一起，读出整个单词。
在动画片中，就会出现这些字母手挽手，各自念出自己的音，然后拼在一起的过程，如 "c-a-t, CAT!"
这个阶段，可以经常和孩子一起做做这样的练习。
